Whistler Communications is open for business but we are focusing on Wally Kowal's new start-up Canadian Cloud Computing Inc. Wally has decided to focus his attention and energies on building a new venture to address the unique privacy and security needs of Canadian companies who want to take advantage of the power, flexibility and savings of cloud computing.

One of the great things about consulting is the opportunity to meet lots of interesting people and research new technologies and new business opportunities. Once in a while you can stumble onto an opportunity that is too good to ignore. That is exactly what happened here.

While networking in Waterloo's vibrant tech community, Wally identified a critical need for cloud computing services that few companies appear willing to address. Leveraging his broad business background, Wally has put together a dedicated team who are willing and able to build the services and organization that can address that need.

It's ususally a lot easier to make recommendations to other people than it is to run your own business. It's going to be an interesting voyage as we launch the company and build the infrastructure that can deliver secure cloud computing in Canada.
