Successful projects are based on effective communications!

How many times have you received an email from someone that was vague, ineffective or poorly written? How much time, money or project risk did it take to correct? While this is all too common, it is easily remedied.

Whistler Communications now offers hands-on, on-site training in effective business communications. This one-day seminar focuses on developing your staff's ability to write clear, professional and effective emails and letters. It is not an English grammar course, but teaches simple writing strategies that result in effective everyday business correspondence. Topics covered include simple emails, persuasive emails, and the delivery of bad news.

Wally Kowal is a lecturer at Ryerson University, teaching Information Technology Management students how to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. This seminar is based on his experiences in those courses.

"Effective Business Communications" Course Curriculum

This one-day seminar includes both lecture and practical excercises in the following topics:

The course content and assignments can be tailored to your specific requirements. Classes are conducted over a single day on your premises. All you need to supply is a training room (preferably with PCs for each student) and your staff's undivided attention for a single day.
